Safety, Social Issues & CPSO

The SSC Committee's full name describes its range of activities: Safety, Social Issues, & the Community Policing and Service Office. The Committee assists DNBIA staff in the operation of the Night-Time Security Program. Committee members also help coordinate the downtown Adopt-a-Block program and the group helps to identify issues of concern to bring to the City's "Safer Nanaimo" committee.
