Past Successes

We have had some wonderful people volunteer for the DNBIA over the years. Our cruise ship ambassadors are the heart of our organization and we couldn’t be more thankful for the work that they and all of our amazing volunteers do for downtown Nanaimo.

Cruise Ship Ambassadors:

Bring smiles and plenty of downtown information to every passenger who comes ashore during the cruise ship season. These fine folks are Nanaimo’s biggest fans and they’re not afraid to say so!

Festival Volunteers:

Set-up and take-down crews, stage managers, information volunteers and more. The DNBIA festival crew makes downtown events a piece of cake!

Office Helpers:

From answering phones to helping with mail-outs, the DNBIA office volunteers are our lifesavers... and wonderful fun too!
