The DNBIA wants to work with community groups to attract visitors to our downtown, recognizing that tourism is a major economic generator for Nanaimo. Whether it is promoting downtown Nanaimo to VICC  delegates through discount cards and tours, to welcoming and introducing cruise ship passengers to our downtown businesses and services, to assisting community partners in organizing events through our event sponsorship packages and equipment loan program, the DNBIA actively fosters downtown growth and revitalization.
