VANCOUVER ISLAND CONFERENCE CENTRE SELECTED TO HOST THE HARBOUR AUTHORITY OF BC CONFERENCE FOR 2012
NANAIMO (FEBRUARY 7th -10th, 2012) – The Harbour Authority delegates made up of Harbour Authority managers, directors and Associate harbours as well as businesses in the marine industry will travel from all Coastal Waters of BC to attend this conference. Celebrating 3 years in a row with the Vancouver Island Conference Centre we asked Leslie Taylor, the association administrator what keeps them coming back to the Vancouver Island Conference Centre in beautiful Nanaimo BC. "The Harbour Authority Association of BC has decided to continue to host their annual conference in Nanaimo due to the location, Nanaimo’s downtown and the new conference centre. The Vancouver Island Conference Centre staff is incredibly helpful in planning our conference, right down to the smallest details. It is the staff and facility that brings us back to Nanaimo."
The award-winning Nanaimo conference venue will play host to over 150 delegates generating over $236,000 in revenue to the Nanaimo region.
